My thoughts are with my Israeli friends and colleagues and their families. I am horrified. 😔 My heartfelt sympathy also goes out to all the innocent Palestinian families who were turned into cheap sacrifices for the ruthless goals of inhumane terrorists.

As scientists, we are trained to look at systems as a whole, in all their complexity. Maybe this is why many of us struggle with simple statements on #Israel 🇮🇱 and 🇵🇸. But sometimes things can be simplified quite easily: #Hamas crossed a universal bound of humanity!
