The diabetic-specific advocacy for that is centered around the Nightscout foundation and specifically "we are not waiting" (... for diabetes equipment manufacturers to get their shit together)

I really don't even think an outcome wherein some corporation can get your doctor to prescribe you a device that your life depends on but that you retain no significan control over - but like the company is good and competent and has their shit together - is desirable, let alone worth waiting for
