So all of machine learning / AI is snake oil? I don’t think ChatGPT is coming for your jobs specifically, but ML will continue to be a big deal and already is a big deal imo

There are uses for ML; the Perspective API for text moderation helps humans make moderation decisions. It has a problem, though, because its users tend to believe it reads & thinks, so if it returns a low score, there must not be a problem … except it’s just people using new or salonfahige language
