So it started when I was younger and had a PS2 and played Mamodo fury when it released to the console.

I found out the anime series back when I was a kid! I loved watching it in TV, but after it stopped airing dubbed I kinda forgot about it. However, I decided to rewatch it when I was 16. Finished the anime, then read the manga and I was so in love with it 😭 I'm so happy with the sequel now

I watched the dub version on toonami in high school I think? And fell in love and started collecting the manga! It became a huge art inspo to me and I’ve loved it ever since.

I think my first exposure to it was seeing a random episode on Toonami and being curious why Zatch had the same voice as Jimmy Neutron. I think the episode was with Gofure (the dog mamodo) so the imagery of a cute dog turning into a scary beast stuck with me. Got me to seek out the manga.

I was a fan ever since the original series aired on Toonami years ago. It combined so many of my favorite genres and tropes in fiction: magic, partnerships, intense fights and zany humor.

I was around 6-7 years old so before I knew anything about Anime and Manga and the Botanical Madness episode aired. Everything about the show stuck with me from the theme song to the spell book design. I then watched it everytime I had the chance on Toonami and in later years watching on YouTube
