I think the uncertainties and potential for unintended consequences (that will likely disproportionately affect communities who have benefited least from the industrial revolution) in geoengineering take us very much into Trolley Problem ethical and philosophical territory 🤔

Sounds like you have both Reviewer2 and Editor2 😕. It's not abnormal to have multiple rounds of revisions. it's very normal for reviewers to make bad suggestions. I like to keep reminding myself that the process is about improving my work (without taking that personally)....
