I wonder how they phrased their questions? I work for a CA transit agency, and when our buses don't show on time, a customer might rideshare from the bus stop. But that's not really the same thing as *replacing* a transit trip IMO.

UC Berkeley studied revealed this years ago. UC Davis study confirms that it's still true. Transit agencies should know better than to "partner" with gig-economy scab cabs that are economically as well as ecologically unsustainable, they will only betray us.
