10. There's been an odd reversal over the last decade or so where the artists/authors I like the most will get a Batman book and I'm happy for them because it's a lot of money but I generally won't bother with it because I have such a strong preference for their non-cape-comic-continuity stuff.

Not sure whose fault this is but I suspect it's a generalized conservatism as the editorial ops of both big publishers have been reduced to skeleton crews and the executive suites are in much closer collaboration to sell toys and movie tickets. I really appreciate stuff like the Black Label.
