As an immigrant to the United States from a part of Europe which had mass deportations and concentration camps to "have more housing", I'm really loving it that a major party in the United States is promising mass deportations and concentration camps to "have more housing".

As a white man from an immigrant family, it is so painfully clear to me that anybody "against immigration" is really just racist. They never complain about white immigrants at all. Totally fine, one of us. But you could be a 5th generation Black American or Asian American and they want you gone.

I lived in Alsace, France, I spent my teenage school years learning about that period of history in literature, art classes and history class, including very triggering videos of corpses and trains. I don't understand how people have such short term memory and it makes me very angry.
