Cis people don’t understand how terrifying it is to be trans right now. The panic and anger are completely predictable responses and I wish people would understand why.

At this point after their trans coverage and that story about the Hamas Oct 6th attack I have trouble believing anything they publish.

we’re all well aware by this point that states with republican governance can apparently just deny whatever rights they want to whomever. women, transsexuals, black voters, immigrants. it’s not uncommon to see NYT cited like this in speeches & supporting testimony about why these laws are “needed.”
