Ticket Office staff (again, not a TM or LN employee) was fantastic at quickly easing my worry, taking my order number and providing a replacement ticket, all with a friendly smile. About 3 minutes after arriving at the venue, everything was all good. Still no word from Ticketmaster directly.
Last Night: TicketMaster put a hold on my ticket to see Air, at Benaroyal Hall (NOT a LiveNation venue). Their chatbot told me it would IMMEDIATELY RUSH me to an agent. 1hr and 45min of stress panic later we arrived at the venue. Still nothing from TicketMaster.
Leave it to Ticketmaster to fuck up a perfectly Good Friday night.
I left every home theater nerd I knew in that place. Lots of folks I met there and became in person best friends with but now live cross country. Just not worth it. If you hang on there so will everyone you chat with. Give them a reason to leave, ie a better place to be.
