I have an incredibly petty dilemma. I am a pen nerd. Have been since I was a teen. My ultimate dream pen: A Montblanc rollerball. (Not big on fountains; just a preference) I will be in Geneva, Switzerland on a work trip, in two weeks. This is my chance. Dilemma: it is a Very Bad Time to spend $$.

I'm not looking at spending thousands, but $300-$400 is an absolutely silly amount to spend on a pen, even if it is The Dream. I have a knockoff that is gorgeous and lovely. The spouse says YOLO, Happy Anniversary. But it's a PEN, y'all. Ridiculous. But 16yo OfficeMax cashier Tiara would D I E.
