Ahh the feeling when you realise there's a new series of your current fave podcast. Monday just got more bearable

When will I learn that it's possible to write a 25 minute talk which can be used in different contexts, rather than writing vaguely different things for different purposes that take hours to produce

Inspired by one colleague to bring a pillow into work and others to keep spare socks in my desk drawer. Honoured to associate with such wise people.

I dunno why anyone would take a screeching alarm over bare feet on the street. My feet are happy freed from the prison of wet shoes and socks. My ears and sole are not happy with horrible alarm.

Feet got wet on the way to work today - obviously terrible. Opting for bare feet rather than wet socks seemed close to socially acceptable until there was a fire alarm. Turns out if you stand in the street outside your workplace in bare feet you get invited back into the fire alarming building.

As well as this, I've been impressed how easy it is to update my name on all my Sage publications, so that is now correct too 🥳

Not that it means very much, but my article 'Mundanity, fascination and threat: Interrogating responses to publicly engaged research in toilet, trans and disability studies amid a ‘culture war’' - has been given an 'issue' journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

Yeh I remember the TV show but I was never much of a reader - really enjoyed reading them to Josie though! Having said that, Em pointed out to me that the parts I really laughed at the similarities were in the last book which was actually written a lot later, & after HP 😬😂

Reading The Worst Witch with eldest and it is amazing how similar some of the stuff is to HP. Like mindblowingly, ridiculously similar.
