Yeh I remember the TV show but I was never much of a reader - really enjoyed reading them to Josie though! Having said that, Em pointed out to me that the parts I really laughed at the similarities were in the last book which was actually written a lot later, & after HP 😬😂

Oh dear! Still hard to imagine that the series as a whole wasn't an inspiration for Rowling, I guess, given the setting. But as queen feminist Rowling of course made it into a bildungsroman about a man, rather than a story about a group of girls 🙃
