Nazis should be othered. Nobody should be dehumanized. They're still humans, even if they're some of the worst.

It depends on what you're trying to communicate. I do think the tendency to portray Nazis as creatures of evil has made it easier not to see what Nazis stood for, and how many people are pretty happy to go that way. But for hot takes? Point and laugh. Point and swear. Throw them out of the bar.

Just as tolerance is a peace treaty, so too is acknowledgement of shared humanity. Someone who aggressively removes themselves from that treaty has also forfeited the protection of that treaty. You can extend Nazis the benefits of humanity as a boon, but it is no longer an obligation.
