The short answer is yes, especially because you emphasized the increased heart rate and physical feeling over mental/emotional anxiety. It could be worth doing an at-home standing test for (hyperadrenergic) POTS. There is some overlap in medications prescribed for anxiety and POTS.

Yeah, this is me too. Often I think I have correctly assessed how others will evaluate me, so the problem is a misunderstanding on the part of people telling me I'm being too hard on myself. Especially a common misunderstanding among therapists who don't know ADHD well bsky.app/profile/toom...
