Just finished watching episode 2 of Blue Lock season 2. Safe to say it doesn't have better animation than season 1. I almost feel like I'm giving it too much credit by calling it animation to begin with. Pretty unfortunate.
Watching Dandadan, Blue Lock, and Dragon Ball Daima this season. Dandadan: amazing first two episodes, potential to be 10/10 or close Blue Lock: cool colors in intro sequence, can't tell much otherwise. just needs better animation than season 1 Daima: very good episode, hope it stays this good
I'm not sure that it's possible to make an adaptation of Junji Ito's work that's as good as the original. Something about it being a manga seems to elevate the experience for me, in a way that'd be very difficult to replicate in animation. I'm not sure how to explain what I mean.
I'd previously checked out the first chapter of Uzumaki, and when I watched episode 1 of the anime adaptation, I couldn't finish it. It wasn't nearly as gripping as the manga, so I decided against finishing the anime. Based on the reception to episode 2, it seems like that was a good idea.
By lurking around on certain websites, it's easy to find people who are just so incredibly miserable, so full of negativity, always assuming the worst in others, quick to act superior. It's kinda sad. I can only imagine it's either the result of a hard life or the cause of (what will be) one.
Same. Honestly, I wasn't too crazy about the opening song, but it's not bad. I really like the opening's visuals, though. It's got some really gorgeous art, like this part especially:
