I checked out the stream this time, and the streamer seemed to have convinced their audience (or vice versa?) that the person they were disagreeing with was bitter and attacking them for no reason when in reality, they were being calm and nonconfrontational about the whole thing.

They even implied that the person quote tweeting them instead of replying was hostile in some way, which is confusing to me. I don't think they could've had any real discussion with someone who's going with the least charitable interpretation of everything they try to say, in their own echo chamber.
