Also to note, the banner is 3:1 ratio. So, 1500 x 500px. However! It is slightly cropped on desktop view vs mobile. Mobile gets the full banner, desktop cuts part of the bottom and a bit of the sides. Annoyingly discovered this through trial and error.

great insight! yeah the banner is cropped because of a technical limitation of needing to set the height of the banner constant. because of the technical limitation, the banner cant be change size/ be responsive towards when the viewport width changes width. i think. bsky.app/profile/whey...
