I'm concerned about this, but I don't think the problem is the iconography. I think the problem is kids aren't incentivized to learn how to actually do anything on a computer anymore. I don't know many gen z people, admittedly, but I've heard the lack of computer literacy runs deeeeep.

I love jewelweed so much! Every time I felt like I MIGHT have had a run-in with poison ivy, I seek it out and rub a big mashed up ball of it on the area as soon as possible. Hasn't failed me yet!

10Six! Really interesting multiplayer (MMO?) hybrid base builder and 3D movement/combat. It's been sooo long since I even thought about this game!

It's easy to imagine it feeling played out, but holy smokes, everything in Astro Bot is SO considered and intentional... It still works. But damn I would also love to see what else this studio could come up with, untethered from that.

I don't mind it per se, because I'd really never seen such tremendous care taken to celebrate the history and legacy of a console (interesting to imagine Nintendo or Sega doing this at the same level) - and it acts a bit as an interpretive piece to me, a video game museum of sorts.

Just a cheesy ass grin on my face the entire time I'm playing Astro Bot. The animation. The pacing. The fluidity. The details. I feel like I'm playing on a brand new console. What a delight. And the music? Holy smokes.
