I think about this sometimes when I realise how fully I've dropped off my previous intense bouts of writing, singing/composing music, etc. Age, exhaustion, timepoor... I don't know.

I guess most people would say that being really into things is a luxury you have when you’re not too busy, or you are not a parent (and so can out your own interests first). Being time poor, as you say.
