An XCOM-like HUD shows an initiative order of characters under the player's control with various enemies mixed in, and a security level meter that reacts to the player going loud or choosing to take a more stealth game approach.
Heist planning from the safehouse lets you work your network of underworld contacts to gain leverage giving you advantages within the mission, choose and equip the right mercs for the job, and potentially unlock alternate stages to suit your preferred playstyle.
Deep talent trees and multiclassing combine with gear and cybernetics to create many possible character builds. (Extensive visual character customization is also available -- make each squad member entirely your own.)
