I've never had a metal cage before. Would you recommend getting a cheap one to try before investing so much money into a high quality one? I've only worn a cb6000s and a fake cobra. And the cb6k was never comfortable!

I would NOT recommend getting a cheap metal; if it is ill-fitting, you might think that all metal cages feel like that, with pinching, smashed balls, etc. I highly recommend getting a quality metal cage for ~$300, and I think you will like results if you measure correctly. I love the weight!
