“AI” detectors are a fraudulent technology. There is no such thing.

Suspect there is no better AI checker than a teacher with a bit of experience of AI writing.

Why do some words allegedly ping as popular in LLM-gen text? B/c the material they’ve trained on—now the majority of all publicly available text—use those words. Meaning people use those words. There’s no such thing as pattern recognition for a pattern recognition machine based on human patterns.

I've told this before, but I've put my work from 2000-2010 in the detectors, and it shows 60%+ AI aided.
