#silverdoc Here, he is a man more

When he first met Enciodes Silverash, Doctor understood immediately that he was a man who would make history. Sure, he might not quite want his name to be in the books - at most he would simply be an afterthought, the brother of a saintess or the president of Karlan Trade. But he would be someone who creates the world told in those books at all. Doctor did not need his memory to know all that. He did not need Kal’tsit’s unhappy and unheard warnings about how dangerous he was. Doctor simply knew as soon as he saw those sharp eyes, a sign of his true nature despite his controlled expression. But still, he let Silverash in. He tied himself to a man who he should not even entertain. It wasn’t because it was kind, however. It wasn’t because he was arrogant or naive. It was because he knew that Silverash too, had his own ideas of who he was. More than everyone who saw him as the same person from long-gone history that did not feel like his own. More than those who pinned faith upon him that did not feel like it was right. And ah — was it truly wrong to want to be seen as something more?
