Nah thats the wrong way to look at it. The US government on a federal level can fund Anything they want, all at the same time. Austerity and arguments over budget are mere performance. They just dont Want to help the homeless.

There is an entire tech development center called Interlocken in Colorado that is essentially abandoned. Acres and acres of buildings with almost no tenants since Covid. Could probably house 10,000 people or more. We need to start seizing these properties and getting people housed.
