I'm so sorry to hear that :c I understand conversation and debate are important skills, but at the same time there just isn't enough charge in social batteries to go on for over 3 or 4 hours

Sick again, yippee... I hate it because I always get this thumping headache when I'm sick. It really stops me from doing anything but laying in bed and listening to videos. I would love to read but I just cant cause my head argh

But yeah, that should take care of them all! A lot of just direct translations this time, nothing too spectacular. I'm pretty sure next book we will have a lot of names to review, since it seems like Finnish nightwings have different naming conventions than English, as far as I know. We'll see!

violent death, that being "Surma". Surmantuoja would be a fitting name for an assassin. But maybe they don't want young kids googling what surma means, as it is often used in news stories about murders and killings. So yeah maybe not a good idea. Kuolontuoja tho, that would be nice. (2/2)

Deathbringer - Kuolemantuoja It's a direct translation, even in compounds "kuolema" (death) and "tuoja" (bringer). I would maybe have used another word for death since we do have those. "Kuolo" is a more poetic word for death, so Kuolontuoja would have been good. There is also a word for (1/2)

And that should take care of the relevant rainwings. So what else do we have... uhhh actually not that much. We did meet Blaze so I guess Glacier - Jäätikkö Direct translation. And of course, I should not forget:

Exquisite - Hurmaava Exquisite is another word that can be translated in several ways. "Hurmaava" would directly translate to "charming" and it is accurate enough, imo.

Grandeur - Suureellinen This is kinda a fitting name, I guess. Word grandeur does have several meanings, but I would have gone with "Mahtavuus" as a translation, that would directly mean "greatness". This is just based on opinion and me not liking Suureellinen as a name, nothing deeper than that XD

Like "Maggie" and "Uljas" have nothing in common. At least using "Suurenmoinen" would open up "Suski" (common Finnish nickname for people named "Susanna") as a nickname. No idea why they didn't even change the nickname to something that resembles "Uljas". sigh (2/2)
