I feel like this book is inspiring me, too! (Not sure exactly how or in what direction, but I can feel it, you know?)
Although for the most part (so far), it's quiet yet oddly hypnotic slice-of-life. I never thought I would be so taken by the shenanigans of a bunch of rich teens, fighting and flirting and pouting and pining after one another in a garden
And some suicides and our hero almost gets beaten to death. Then more poetry in the garden (I love the poetry)
Then more tea and visiting. Poetry. Lots of poetry. Oh, and here's some Taoist sorcery for you! And there's that mad Buddhist monk and Taoist showing up again! And more sorcery!
