We got tricked by science fiction into thinking a futuristic city is all about flying cars and crystal towers and hologram billboards but what it really looks like is nice apartment blocks, good mass transit, pedestrian zones with shade trees and safe bike lanes.

A 2023 edited volume that deals with a critical introduction to the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Ed Chad Diehl writes that this volume engages w the shadow of a traumatic past. There is much to dip into in this book and it will encourage new discussion. It includes my own bio on Ozaki Tomei. 🗃️#ナガサキ
I’ve been in a very not so good headspace since a person very close to me got hospitalized. Today, we finally received a treatment plan, and although things will take their time, it feels like there's finally a small light at the end of the tunnel.
