I know in the case of Japanese VTubers (who sometimes do like, cooking streams with their gloves hands) it’s because they’re very strict about anything that might reveal their identity, because stalkers.

Japanese peanut butter is gross though. I do occasionally make a grilled cheese with the egg sandwiches as bread, though.

A weird thing that I only realized semi-recently is that I can’t change the volume of my inner voice. Like, I can change tone to imitate shouting or whispering, but the “volume” in my head is the same because the volume is zero.

Large animals are counted with 頭, which means “head”, but what counter should you use for King Ghidorah? Hydra? 🤔

THAT’S the name of that band? They sound like a hardcore thrash band.

Yeah, no I get that. But wired headphones and devices with jacks are not gone, is my thing. You can still choose to go that route if you want, you don’t HAVE to buy all the latest tech garbage.

Everything you said is subjective and emotionally charged, not factual. You happen to prefer the sound of distortion in your audio; clicks and pops, inferior noise floor, dissipated highs, etc. That’s cool, enjoy what you enjoy, but us digital folks aren’t “tone deaf” for preferring fidelity.

Sound quality of CDs is quantifiably better than vinyl. If someone prefers vinyl that’s one thing (and totally valid), but I’d argue most people only think that vinyl sounds better because you need an expensive playback system to listen to it at all, which - apples to oranges.

Currently typing this on a 6S and I’ve yet to drop it in the toilet or go diving with it.

Yeah I’m really confused whenever people talk about wired headphones as if they’re a dead technology. The Hifi market is alive and well, largely still wired, and not as expensive as people think. You can still choose to go that way.
