We can agree to disagree. I like to believe that companies promote their brand in good faith to at least pretend to be consumer friendly. NFT’s are an unhealthy aspect of the corporate ecosystem. Even expressing interest in such a concept sends a bad message. But this is just my personal opinion.

When it was announced that Square Enix was interested in NFT’s, I immediately expressed that I would not be supporting their company if they did so. Since the initial announcement, Square Enix has not followed up stating they were no longer interested in NFT’s. Does this answer the question?

I did not kill my interest in their company. They did. And the reason you show disinterest is to express discontent so as to at least signal that maybe NFT’s aren’t such a great idea in the first place.

I wouldn’t say it’s “easy” to boycott a corporation. But with Kingdom Hearts being so near and dear to me for so many years, I myself am a bit shocked by how I’m kind of just apathetic towards the game / franchise and the company at this point. It’s just bitter sweet to me now after all.
