Quite. Putting to one side any feelings about the woman herself, if you're naming a girl after Margaret Thatcher surely you'd call her Margaret? I'm named after my great-grandma and it'd be as if my Mum called me 'Hayes' instead. It's all over weird.
You could even go for Margaret Hilda if you *really* wanted to drive home that you were naming her for a very specific Margaret.
