being a lead is weird because it doesn't ever feel right to say you're a good lead since that's not your call to make but how to know if being good lead.......??????????.. ????hUH???

I tell leads that they are doing excellent as a lead or just not say anything if they are struggling. With what I know of you so far, I can't imagine you not being a compassionate lead.

it’s also very rare, I’ve found, that good leaders get much positive feedback. I don’t totally know why?maybe it’s just easier to complain about bad leaders lol

Maybe like when one of your juniors does that thing where they get all insecure and quiet for a bit, so you have a quick chat and figure out their worry, reassure them and give them a goal they achieve and feel good about? But like, if you were *really* a good lead then they'd never be insec- Argh.

I think if you catch yourself making that kind of question often, it should be a high indicator you're trying to be one and, at the very least, becoming a better one every day
