Look I never play this card but I studied German politics and the rise of fascism and this IS THAT. We have arrived at the end game. Not hyperbole or exaggeration this is THE EXACT LANGUAGE. Anyone who has studied this recognizes it like a meteorologist seeing a gathering hurricane

The typical anime season should be 26 episodes again. The current format is forcing stories with grander ambitions to get split up - sometimes over multiple years - or worse, truncated, causing the delivery and impact to suffer.

I'm against what the Israeli army has been doing in Gaza too but I'm also against Iran bombing the fuck out of Israel. The part where civilians have human rights and should be safe is the common thread. Yes? Yes.

That's the university I went to for undergrad and law school... I'm tempted to call them up and ask why the fuck they invited this idiot literally anything.

(Cross-post from The Bad Place) I suppose we're doing this again. This is incorrect: the Roman army relied heavily on non-citizens throughout nearly the whole of Roman history, including periods of its greatest success in the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC, when Rome came to dominate the Mediterranean.1/

An Elon Musk tweet, claiming that "Near the fall of the Roman Empire, the Roman Army also increasingly relied on non-citizens," a claim that is, at best, deceptive.
