“Hork” implied one solid mass, while “hurl” implies standard vomiting - at least in my experience/usage… Not the direction I expected my afternoon online conversations to go… :)

This strikes me as an 80s expression. There were a *lot* of expressions for/about vomiting in the 80s, for some reason.
