What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? There are lots of psychologists who are experts in adolescent development, media psychology, and/or teen mental health. None of them are named Jonathan Haidt.

Oh the experts all disagree with Haidt and his cherrypicked and poorly analysed data. The experts in the room disagree with him, because the evidence in the world disagrees with him.
