Just a reminder - biometric unlocks don't work the first time a device boots up from being off. I'm just saying.

There’s no such thing as safe opsec, just safer opsec. If you can help it, don’t bring a phone to the protest. If you have to bring a phone, use a pin to lock it. If you have to use biometric unlock, turn off your phone if shit is popping off (most require pw on boot up / decrypt)
If your phone has a case, absolutely DO have your important phone numbers (esp. the number you'd use for your post-arrest "one phone call") on a slip of paper stashed between the phone and the case.
Best yet to not bring a phone. Also, the best practice (if you gotta have one) is to set your messages to auto-delete in Signal. And on a burner pay-as-you-go phone
