That Day by Pierre-Emmanuel Lyet (translated by Sarah Ardizzone) is one of my favourite picturebooks of the year. A beautiful story about a small boy coming to terms with the loss of his grandma and thinking about the memories they shared. The use of colour in the artwork is superb.
