Whoot! You've got this!!!!
Students are amazing. We spent the semester analyzing ghost stories and urban legends from their various communities for how they teach values. Today they shared the stories they wrote using those rhetorical structures. They were so creative and fun! They have these concepts down!
Excited to share that this book is out now! Lots of great ideas for faculty developers, and @writandrhet.bsky.socialwww.infoagepub.com/products/Fac...
Also, based on @geekypedagogy.bsky.social books and this talk, I think I will add these questions to my survey for students: what are your learning superpowers how did this class support that superpower how did this class develop your other superpowers was there any kryptonite in this class
Just heard an amazing talk by @geekypedagogy.bsky.social Thank you for helping folx to not only see why this feedback is important to students but also to teachers.
Whoooooooooot! Congrats!!!
We went a month without an oven, but that's fixed now. Oh, spaghetti casserole, I can't evensay how much I have missed you.
I can't change the weather. (I'm wearing flip-flops.) However, I can put on a hockey jersey, make a crockpot full of chili, and put out cinnamon-scented pinecones. Welcome fall!
