My favorite CTL work is the internal mission, vision, & values work. Without it we do not know who we are, we risk becoming irrelevant or over-committed, & we can’t show our value or celebrate our success. Grateful that the TLC team at Pima gets this & are willing to put in the work to realize it. ❤️

Thanks for the clarification and context.

Perhaps we are talking about different types of interviews? I am thinking of conversations where faculty and students specifically discuss the conventions of writing in the discipline and what will be expected in the major -- not the faculty member's research.

I've taught 1st yr comp & faculty complain to me that students still "don't know how to write" (read: don't know how to write for MY field). I can't teach all disciplinary conventions so how else do you recommend I get students familiar with what their profs want before they are penalized for it?

Any ad that isn’t transparent about the hiring timeline and salary is of concern to me. It indicates there will likely be a lack of transparency in other things as well.

If you are a university administrator that ever feels the need to send in police to arrest groups of your students for demonstrating, then you are completely unqualified to lead a campus.
