If the society they live in is built around them, absolutely. Should be no problem. But if they coexist with other creatures that works differently, taller/smaller/longer/shorter, have digits that works closer to hands or may not be built for flying then it makes it all more complicated. :o

That means I have to design better armpit bras for bats later...

That's exactly how it works there... Many different creatures living in the same world :]
