Academics who call on their universities to invite police against their students betray their basic duty of care

I'm referring, among others, to the 294 professors who called on universities "to intervene and clear the encampments and restore order, safety" docs.google.com/document/d/e...

I mean, they betray their lack of care. Most academics are not there for the teaching responsibilities.
