occasionally after not eating a real meal and feeling shitty, I'll eat a real meal and start to feel a bit better, and it comes as a surprise to me every time

I think it's good that the Allies defeated the Nazis, rather than the other way around. The Nazis winning would've been worse. Sorry to get so partisan and speak out against one of Republicans' chosen standard bearers in Minnesota like this, but that's how I feel.

As the control of the Senate hangs in the balance, GOP candidates across the country are facing a similar problem: Troubling and bizarre past statements, both in-person and on social media, are coming...

DOJ is doing what it must in this brief, and we may even find out they didnā€™t go far enough in lopping off pieces of the case to fit the procrustean bed of Robertsā€™ opinion. But itā€™s still a little nauseating to see that awful and radical conceptual framework folded into workmanlike legal writing.

This is correct. Bush v. Gore was bad but it was qualitatively distinct from what Trump is currently saying. There really is no comparison between partisans resolving a genuine election dispute in their own party's favor, and declaring, ex ante, that only one election result is valid.
