A friend told me that most South Koreans don't follow politics because they already know it's just power games, and spend more time with their communities. I don't know if this is true, but I'm certain most politicians are in it for themselves, and I think it's highly profitable for many involved.

I used to find it wrong to switch companies in less than 3 years (I read a lot on loss of productivity, and inherited Asian duty sensibilities) until I did it myself. I now realize it's hard to find a fit without actually working together. I was lucky to work at mostly sufferable companies.
