Facing a complete creative block the past few days on Welcome To The Dark Place. Totally motivated to get work done, but my ideas aren't inspired--when this happened before I thought it was the other way around, but now I'm not sure. It really is a blockage, like between me and my subconscious

Just writing about it gave me an idea though. Can you believe there's no mirrors in the Dark Place yet? Not a single one. It's like Candy Land having no gummy bears

Honestly I’m so shocked at how fast it feels like you churn out ideas! Take care of your brain and let ideas come to you when you feel that creative block 💜

some genuine advice here , or at least some insight sometimes you just hit walls creatively , and you just need to take a break in general , instead of breaking from one project and focusing on another, it sucks,but it happens, and that's okay (continued)

One thing that inspires me is consuming other media to get ideas. In your case, it would be like playing other games. Maybe you could even revisit some old ones of your own! I’m sure the ideas are there, you just need to draw them out.

I feel it, creativity is difficult to manufacture. I can sit in FL Studio for hours sometimes just spamming plugins and twisting dials but nothing clicks, then sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and a progression just hits me. Being a musician is a dream but creating to live is a fear.

Sometimes you can't force creativity. You sometimes gotta let it come to you. I found limiting myself forces me to think about creative avenues. For example, trying to design something without color, or making a song with only white piano notes. If there aren't new things to try, challenge yourself.

Sometimes it's good to take a break from a project maybe mess around with something else for a while. I dunno if you trying to get it done for the end of the month but i hope you aren't rushing your creative process cause you got a take on horror that i enjoy
