Eai, vc sabia ?

whoa that is way more clearly defined than I expected

map of cenotes (creepy water-filled sinkhole caves) in Yucatan, Mexico, looking like somebody set their coffee down on the top left corner of the map and left a ring

I love showing a map of that semi-circle of Yucatan cenotes in class whenever teaching about the end-Cretaceous meteorite impact, & the students' "whoa" reaction to it.

There's also the creepy circle of cenotes in Mexico that denote the edge of the Chicxulub impact crater.

I assume you are going to Chichen Itza one day. And the cenotes the next!

Austin has a very outdoorsy culture, especially given that we aren't particularly blessed with outdoor features. Our best feature is underground water bubbling up, springs and cenotes. Nothing like the nature out your backdoor.
