I love the idea behind it, but execution could be a lot better. I would've argued for maybe 6 units & room for a bit more open space, in a cohousing setup—members share some common facilities like a laundry, mini-gym, big kitchen, whatever, but units are independent & ofc have their own kitchens.

if I could live with other people without them constantly tearing me down for being disabled I would be into it, but my experience with cohousing as a messy adhd person was largely traumatic. I don't need another round of people calling me useless and lazy and disgusting cause of my disability

You presumably mean an academic career (if such things continue to exist), but clearly the other kind too. By the time Gen Alphas are adults, surely a subset of folks will have the means and desire for the services of a professional cohousing-polycule facilitator.

I can't get the attention of my city councilor for ANYTHING. Now I'm researching moving to a smallish Ontario city and finding their MAYOR has fewer constituents than my city councilor! No wonder the cohousing project their can get the mayor's attention. SMH. Also FU Doug Ford and Mike Harris.

Counselor and mediator, of course. and based on my cohousing experiences: reluctant logistics/task management organization when there’s no one else stepping up for it.

what would YOUR job be in the commune judging by what i do in my cohousing? cooking mostly. possibly some signage design or information organization on the side. also slacking off so i can write of course
