In a completely unexpected surprise, we saw the Northern Lights from my plane home from EPSC last night. I can truthfully say with no shade to the conference that the trip back was the best part.

For synaptic conductance, I always have used the kick and decay model, which ignores the activation time of the AMPA receptors. Now I found the paper behind it. Jonas showed that the rise time of EPSC is on the order of 0.5 ms. This is at 22 C! It should be even faster at 36 C. Nice paper!

Epsc ce sera en visio pour moi cette annĂ©e c'est juste aprĂšs la rentrĂ©e donc chaud. AGU je sais pas encore, j'aimerais bien, mais j'y verrai plus clair en septembre. Je fais mĂȘme pas la Mars Conf la semaine prochaine 😭
