Was just digging through a box and found a copy of the program for the 2nd Dimensions of Political Ecology conference. Now I'm struggling to contain the nostalgia +pride in this group of grad students who bootstrapped a new & important space into existence that is still going strong after 13 years!

The cover of the program for the second Dimensions of Political Ecology conference held at the University of Kentucky in 2012.

Showcasing my current #Lego project, which is an 18th century sailing ship! The first picture is the HMS Authority in its old form, and the second picture shows what the ship will look like after my (in-progress) revamp. Stay tuned!

A custom LEGO model of a three-masted sailing ship. The ship is held on a black stand bearing the name "HMS Authority". The hull is a dark brown, and there are stripes of tan and blue mixed in with black. The sails are an off-white, and rigging is represented with many things black pieces and some string. The model is large, and the entire thing rests up on a display shelf.
A digital rendering of a custom LEGO ship model, similar in size and scale to the previous picture. Like that model, this one is of a large, three-masted sailing ship. The hull is dark brown, while above that there are stripes of tan, dark red, and blue. There are no sails on this ship, as it is incomplete and missing full masts and all of its hull. The shaping of this model is more intricate than the previous one. It rests against a blank white background.

This is me whenever someone uses a scalpel or a straight razor as a weapon. Anyone who's held one in their hands can tell you what a terrible weapon it is.

It is telling that none of these commenters acknowledge Harris’s answer is in the context of extensive litigation regarding gender affirming & transition care for incarcerated persons under the Eighth Amendment. Some courts have held it is a right! journalofethics.ama-assn.org/article/gend...

Remodeled a new-style broadside to look a bit more like the older ones. No green stuff required, just some precise cuts, plus a couple of the old missile launchers from the actual old battlesuit kits.

A newer style broadside battlesuit, painted in farsight enclave colours, modeled so that the twin rail cannons are mounted on the right shoulder as opposed to the to being held like a rifle.
Side view of the same model, showing off the remodeled rail cannons in full.
