Lithuania has warded a 130 million € contract to SAAB for the acquisition of their Mobile Short-Range Air Defence Solution. The order includes both RBS-70NG launchers and Giraffe 1X Radars which will be mounted on the US made JLTV. www.hartpunkt.de/litauen-saab...

Are you planning to dominate the littorals? because this is how you dominate the littorals. Unmanned JLTV on a CB90 with Precision Strike Missile pod, or a single Tomahawk or two Naval Strike Missiles.

Two different jobs! The ISV is generally a supplement for what would otherwise be purely foot patrols, while the JLTV is the Humvee's replacement (as it turns out we use Humvees for way more than just tooling around behind friendly lines as designed, who f'n knew)

lmao the humvee didnt have enough armor so MRAP and then MRAP too big so JLTV, but then JLTV STILL TOO BIG so

The JLTV is descended from the M-ATV, so the relationship is kinda like how the M151 was descended from the OG Jeep.

They are different but similar. The JLTV is basically the long-term replacement goal for Humvees in units that require protection (but not all Humvees). The pie in the sky modernized MP Platoon would actually be 8 JLTVs and 5 M-ATVs

Is the m-atv not a Jltv? Cuz you've just rocked my world.
