I'm thinking maybe video editing/design or library science. I'd prefer something remote so I can express my gender freely without fear, but the foreseeable future will probably require a lot of "masking".

Same for me for my ADHD and ASS diagnosis with 19 Everyone but my fam saw a problem bc my whole fam was like very much the same as me lol. Turns out uncle, cousin, dad, granddad all very much the same lol. But yeah my symptoms were more masculine & I never tried masking much

Agreed, the things socialized into us are masking and behavioral modification, whatever the intention of the inflicting factor. Just pointing out the differences between diagnostic criteria based on non maskers and the traits that slip through the cracks bc of the socialization.
